Biography:
Okaso Orkaido earned his Master’s degree in 2024 from the School of Nursing, Arba Minch University, Ethiopia. He is currently a nurse lecturer and researcher at Jinka University in Jinka, Ethiopia, where he is dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in pediatrics and child health nursing. With a passion for improving healthcare outcomes for children, Okaso integrates academic teaching with applied research, contributing to the development of evidence-based nursing practices that enhance pediatric care delivery.
Research Interest:
Okaso Orkaido’s research interests center on pediatrics and child health nursing, with a strong focus on improving clinical practices, care protocols, and health outcomes for children in resource-limited settings. His work explores strategies for enhancing nursing interventions, promoting preventive healthcare, and strengthening community-based pediatric services. He is particularly interested in evidence-based approaches that address childhood illnesses, growth and development monitoring, and family-centered care, aiming to bridge the gap between research and real-world nursing practice.
